PROPERTY & RISK MANAGEMENT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths Proverbs 3:5-6
What We Do
Property Management works with Churches and Schools in the purchase, sale and leasing of properties as the Conference corporate officers must sign such legal documents. Additional services to Churches and Schools include appropriate filling of county 571-L reporting and property tax exemptions. Other properties, such as Sonora Community Estates, Camp Wawona, Soquel Conference Center and Watsonville Commercial are managed directly by the Central California Conference.
Risk Management is a ministry of active stewardship, helping to safeguard the property and people the Lord has entrusted to the Central California Conference. The department maintains records and coordinates responsibilities of all church and school safety officers, for all CCC office, church, and school vehicles and properties. Plus coordinates claims for all medical and injury losses.
Meet the Team
Norma Maynez began her CCC ministry in 2006. She served, first, at Fresno Adventist Academy before serving as Administrative Associate in the Education Department from 2007 until January, 2016. Although the job responsibilities were vast and challenging, she found satisfaction in knowing that she helped our school administrators and educators, if even a little, in their greater job of educating our students. Her exposure to the ministry alongside the needs and challenges of our schools and churches laid the foundation for her current position as Director for Trust, Property and Risk Management. She holds a BS degree in Nursing from Fresno State University and has obtained NAD Trust Services Certification. She is humbled by the many unexpected and amazing ways God has used her combined education, talents, and skills for His service. She currently resides in Fresno, CA with her husband, Ray, and they have two adult children, Michael and Jessica.
