And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. -Ephesians 4:11-13

Meet the Team
Vice President for Personnel and Human Resources
Pastor David Hudgens received his appointment to join the CCC administrative team as vice president for human resources and personnel from pastoral ministry at the East Palo Alto church. Prior to his pastoral ministry, Hudgens spent over 20 years in human resources, insurance risk and related fields. In conjunction with this, he served in pastoral roles with increasing responsibility. Transitioning from the business world, he completed his master’s degree in church development from Oakwood University and has served as a senior pastor in Central for over ten years. Hudgens’ experience has prepared him for his new position in human resources and personnel.
