What We Do

The Education department provides support to 20 elementary schools, six academies, three K-10 junior academies, and seven early childhood education centers by assisting in the development of balanced budgets, curriculum planning and implementation, integration of faith and learning, development of Spiritual Action Plans, accreditation through AAA and/or WASC, and staffing and maintenance of personnel records. Our department serves a growing student body of 1,815 students in our schools and an average of 250 students in early childhood education centers (pre-schools). We facilitate the continuing development, training, education, and certification of Central’s educators through in-conference inservices and/or partnering with the Pacific Union Conference Education department, Pacific Union College, La Sierra University, and the North American Division. In addition, we process and facilitate the disbursement of funds for scholarships.
